Our annual meeting is a great way to interact with staff, volunteers, and our Friends of the Library. That night we'll honor our volunteers, review highlights of the year, and vote in new and continuing board members.
Reception begins at 6:30 PM and the meeting will start at 7 PM.

The Lillian M. Bradshaw Award, established to honor Lillian Bradshaw’s life-long commitment to libraries, recognizes a current Dallas Public Library staff member who has rendered exemplary service to learning, literature and library service. Eligible staff must be have completed at least 5 years of DPL service and have fully successful or higher performance evaluation for the previous year. This award is open to all levels of staff and is not limited to librarians.
The A.C. Greene Award was established in 1989 to honor A. C. Greene’s distinguished service to the world of letters and for his life-long support of libraries. This award recognizes community volunteers who have rendered exemplary service to learning, literature, and librarianship by persons who are not members of the Dallas Public Library staff.
The Robert L. Solender Friends Award, established in 2009 to honor Bob Solender’s life-long commitment to libraries, recognizes Friends of the Dallas Public Library members who have rendered exemplary service to learning, literature, and librarianship by persons who are members in good standing of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library
